DAVAO CITY – Special Development Funds – Project Management Office (SDF-PMO) successfully conducted its first strategic planning workshop for the calendar year 2022 at Seda Abreeza Hotel, Davao City, from January 31 to February 2, 2022. This activity was participated by the BPDA Bureau Directors, Division Chiefs, and SDF-PMO staff.
The Aussie Firm led by Atty. Naguie G. Ibrahim served as the resource person and facilitator during the three (3) day strategic planning workshop. The 3-day workshop includes the discussions on the Basic Concepts of Strategic Planning, Analysis of Enabling Environment and Strategic Goals and Objectives, and Monitoring and Evaluation: Logical Framework.
Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali, BPDA Bangsamoro Director-General and SDF-PMO Project Manager in his message, said that he is pleased that the SDF-PMO overcome the challenges experienced in 2020 and 2021. “This year, hopefully, we could already move forward as fast as we can.” He also encouraged everyone to participate and do their best during the workshop. “I’m looking forward to the active participation of everyone, especially those who are directly involved in PMO operations, to do their best because this is a good training ground for you.”
On the other hand, Atty. Ibrahim entails the importance of strategic planning to an organization and the formulation of mission, vision statements and core values.
At the end of the 3-Day Workshop, the SDF-PMO was able to formulate its vision, mission, and core values.
